Cash Machine in India

Cash Machine/ ATM in India
Most of the cash machines in india are located in similar enclosure as shown in above picture. Some cash machines are guarded by a security guard for 24 hours and some other (State Bank Of India, SBI) cash machines are not guarded but you need to swipe card to enter into the enclosure. If you have an Indian bank card then you can withdraw from any cash machine without any charge/bank fee, however certain amount of money is deducted from your bank account if you use international/overseas bank card in these machines.

Most of the cash machines are dip type machines, that means you need enter and then remove card manualy in the machine before you do any transaction. Good thing is that your card would not be stuck inside the machine, if you enter wrong code on the machine or power outage, which is very common in India.
